„Monument der Zuversicht“ is a community driven minecraft project for Das Handwerkin which a virtual artisan city is created Vielfalt echter Handwerksberufe which showcases the diversity of skilled trades in an immersive way. As part of this project, various streamers visit the server in multiple sessions to help drive the project forward. Each session follows a clear Storyline: new challenges, new construction phases, and new craft professions that are to be represented or built in Minecraft (e.g., a blacksmith’s workshop, a bakery, etc.).

In addition to developing the content we worked together with Rocket Miners— a Minecraft community — to provide the technical foundation for the project: A server that not only needs to run reliably but also supports an entire community.

Our Contribution:

• Server infrastructure & hosting in collaboration with Rocket Miners

• Coordination of all participating streamers

• Dramaturgy and content development for the streams (e.g., challenges)
